Rusty von Ruhn is a very handsome 10-11 month old German Shepherd. With his curious expression and classic shepherd head tilt, Rusty will be wonderful companion. He adores people, soaks up attention and wants to please -- you can see it in his eyes and actions as he works with our volunteers. Likely housebroken, he already knows some basic commands and is treat-motivated, taking his treats gently. He is still a young pup and has a medium energy level.  His excitement as he goes for a walk is easily managed, and he is right back by your side. His forever family will no doubt catch the Rusty bug -- and so will his doggy friends. (He's a no for cats.) Rusty is comfortable in playgroups and walking with several dogs in a pack. He enjoys his friends, but his focus remains with his people and getting as much attention and affection as he can. You couldn’t ask for a more devoted young pup.
